In order for an employer to set up their bank account for debits to cover payroll, they need to verify the account with Micro Deposits. Micro Deposits are initiated (2 small transactions of <$.10) immediately after setting up the employer’s bank account in WhiteLabel and the API. Micro Deposits can take 1-2 business days to settle in the employer’s bank account. Once received, the employer will need to enter the amounts via the UI and, if correct, will verify the bank account for debiting.
Note: Micro-Deposits are not needed for an employee to onboard.
