What is a reporting period?

A reporting period is the date range an employee worked that a certain check paid wages for. It typically corresponds to the pay frequency an employee is paid on. For example, an employee on a bi-weekly pay frequency is typically paid on a 14 or 15 day reporting period.

To view a check’s reporting period:

  • Navigate to Pay on the Employer Dashboard
  • Select History
  • Select the Date Created payroll you want to review from the list
  • In the All Employee Checks section, the Reporting Period Start and Reporting Peroid End dates will be listed for each check.
